Jen and Al Flaa’s Story

We are a local husband and wife team that began our new journey together after we retired from our mainstream careers. Al grew up in the Spokane area and moved his family out to the country in 2000 where he found property on the Spokane (Long) Lake in Nine Mile Falls.  He worked with the local utility company as a gas foreman for over 27 years.  Jen moved her family to Nine Mile Falls in 2002 to enjoy a slower pace of life in the country.  She worked in the Providence Hospital system for over 31 years, 25 of which she served as an RN. Al and I met in 2018 and felt an instant connection.

 We knew some of the same people in the community and became an amazing team with 5 children and 10 grandchildren between us.  We both decided to retire and go into Real Estate Investing for  a more flexible schedule and spend more time with our family and fur babies. So, we created Home Run Team, LLC in 2022.  We buy off market houses that need love, hard work, and updating.  Our focus is mainly motivated sellers and or distressed properties.
